Hi waaa, I happen to have info on one Corrado Tommasi and Antonina, (unfortunately I couldn't make out her lastname, the only letters I could make out were two z's.) They married in 1881, Pachino. His parents were Michele Tommasi and Concetta Calvo and they were also married in Pachino, in 1846. Not...

It is him for sure. Francesco was his brother and his father was Vincenzo. I just realized you posted the records. Thanks again.

That must be him for sure. I figured the last name was spelled different. Thank you so much. By the way where did you find this record?

I need help. I am looking for a passenger record on Nicolo Sampieri. I was able to find his father, sister and brothers through ellisisland.org but unfortunately couldn't find him. Though his name was mentioned on his sister's record. He was born in 1892 in a town called Rosolini. But most of his fa...

Re: what do these words mean?
Thank you for the information. Also I have another question. Few days ago I went to the FHC my first time to view the film. I was quite disappointed with the outcome. The film was not very good. All I saw was blur. It was so frustrating trying to adjust and play the machine. I barely can make out an...

Re: What would be easier and faster?
I did check out the FHC and looked up the film notes. Now how do I go about in ordering the films? Do I call the head office or the Family History Ctr near me? Or can I order on-line? Thanks for the help.

What would be easier and faster?
Hi, I am new at this. I need some advice. I wanted to find more information on my great grandparents born roughly around 1890-1900. This summer I will be going to Sicily for 3 weeks. Would it be faster and easier to obtain vital records such as marriage, birth or death certificates? My ancestors wer...
