Cefala' Diana Families - 1820-1856 (Over 2000 records)

Post by kmbinnovations »

Hi,

I am new to the board, and thought I would share the fruits of my labor over the past couple of months...

I have been doing extensive research on the town of Cefala' Diana, southeast of Palermo, Sicily. I have obtained a transcribed list of all people born in Cefala' Diana, Palermo, Sicily, from 1820 - 1856. I have uploaded this list to my website at the following address:

http://www.kmbinnovations.com/genealogy/

If you use the "search" function at the top left, you will search both my personal tree (about 1900 people), and the new Cefala' Diana tree, which contains over 2100 people. Please note, there are duplicates between the two trees (and some people are duped as both parents and children, due to the way I had to import the 2100 people), so please check all names corresponding to your search.

In addition, if you are searching for people in this town, I just received (today!) indexes for the following:

Cefala Diana Births - 1867-1876
Cefala Diana Births - 1877-1903
Cefala Diana Marriages - 1820-1857
Cefala Diana Marriages - 1867-1876
Cefala Diana Marriages - 1877-1903
Cefala Diana Deaths - 1867-1876
Cefala Diana Deaths - 1877-1903

Essentially, the only time period I am missing is 1857-1866, at this point. These records do not appear to have been saved, unfortunately.

Please send me an email if you would like more information. My email address is on the site.

I hope this will be helpful to someone out there! Good luck!

Popular surnames in Cefala' Diana in this timeframe include:
Costanza (135), Ferrara (92), Barbaria (90), Princiotta (88), Scarpulla (84), DiMarco (75), Dioguardi (70), Nuccio (62), Maida (61), Caldarella (56), Truzzolino (50), Anzalone (47), Caldarone (46), Trentacoste (38), DiStefano (36), Musacchia (31), Bellavia (30), Bivona (30), Baio (29), DiMino (26), Romeo (26), Vella (25), DiMiceli (23), La Rocca (21)

Sincerely,

I have seen your database and I am very interested in this information. However, you do not document the resource for the information. I am need to know how to confirm / document the material.
Thank you
