Kathy:
Sent you a private message ... wonder how "Cousin" John is doing on his quest for Montemiletto records?

Maybe he'll see this and check in!

I'm just getting familiar with this site but I see a number of connections from Montemiletto. I have the tapes from the Montemiletto on permanent loan from LDS trying to figure things out. I'm most willing to share information.

Good morning.

I have tracked down several family members (Colella, Riccio, di Fronzo, Ragno, del Ninno, Capone, etc) who lived in Montemiletto, AV. If you want, I can provide the URL and password so you can check my family tree to see if you find any useful information. My records go back to 1796.

Regards,
John

I have family from Pietradefusi and from Montemilito. They are Pucillo and Cefalo and Colella [Amadeo Colella] I am a descendant of Giacomo Pucillo and Rosa Cefalo.
My grandfather was Giaochini Pucillo, from Montemilito nd my grandmother Rosa Cefal was from Pietradefusi, they did not come here together. I believe Giaochino came in the late 1890's and Rosa paid her own passage and came alone in 1903. Another spelling of their name was puccillo, that spelling is on my Uncle Giacomo [aka James] baptismal record. I would like to know more about my great grandfather Giacomo Pucillo and his wife Louisa DiLuca. I think they lived at 9 Corso Belvedere. I have a lot of info on this particular Puccillo family, here in the US but not in Italy
My cousins are Colella.

Actually I'm trying to delete my comments.

I've been rather successful in my quest but was hit up hard by someone saying horrific things to me. I don't want any info of mine left here.

Thank you for the information.
