Citizenship jure matrimoni - 730 days passed

Post by mikedc »

Greetings,

I applied for Italian Citizenship through Marriage over 15 months ago. According to the law, the government has 730 days to grant or deny citizenship.

I am inquiring with my Consulate but receiving no response.

What would you suggest as my next move? Should I contact the Comune di Roma? If so, what should I write (aka translation into Italian).

Thanks to anyone for their help.

Regards,
Michael
