Re: Gaetano Cuda
His name was listed on his father's passenger records...like it listed all the kids, and he was born in 1899 and it said he lived in Pittsburgh, PA (that info. was recorded in 1917)

Re: Naturalization Brick Wall!

Hi, I've hit a brick wall in getting my gg-grandparents' naturalization papers...the censuses say they were naturalized bet. 1920-1930, and I send a request to Philadelphia for their papers and they sent it back saying they had no record for my gg-grandfather, Pasquale Rubino......I'm completely stu...

Italian census???
Do they have censuses in Italy...and if so, how do you get to them? I know there are birth/death records now...that would probably provide parents' names and that...but how would you get siblings?

Re: Boarders??
Interestingly enough, my gg-grandparents birth-names are Pasquale and Gaetana....for some odd reason, they changed their names when they came to the U.S. to "Frank" and "Mary." If they were going by the English translations, their names should have been Patrick and Gertrude. I ha...

Boarders??
I've noticed on a lot of the censuses there are always a couple people living with my gg-grandparents who came over from Italy. Is it possible that they are relatives? I'm not sure, I don't recognize any of the boarders' surnames. But I tried looking them up, going by the name they had listed and I ...
