Yes, basically the file you give her is the datebase end of the software so what yuo see in your copy of the software is exactly what she will see when she opens it in her copy.

If you are using FTM 2009 and it is the same format as earlier editions, I not have used it yet so don't know, then the instructions below will work You can just copy the famly tree file what will end like this FBK.FBC.FBK.FBC forward it to her and tell her to save the file to a prefered location eg...

Yes the first column will be the baby name sonetimes nome(given name) and cognome (surname) followed by Genitori (parents), which in this instance would be father's nome and mother's nome and cognome but sometimes it just gives the baby's nome and then the parents nome and cognome. The column on the right on a birth record is usually baptismal details parish church date priest and name etc.

You could also download the transcriptions of different rites: births marriage and deaths on this link below. There are different formats of the same rite. There is a Catarina Guatelli aged 17 married to Francesco aged 26 yrs living in Circus Street, which was in the Little Italy part of Liverpool, on the 1871 census, and they were recorded as being musicians. Does this sound like your Catarina?
