There is some controversy as to whether my father's grandparents were Austrian or Italian. Half of the family says they are Italian and the other half says they are Austrian. My great grandfather, Nicolangelo D'Antonio, immigrated from Montenerodomo, Italy to the U.S. in 1911. I believe he arrived on October 9, 1911 in Philadelphia, PA. His ship was "Ancona". I have not been able to locate his manifest.
