Re: Monaco, Salzillo marriage

Hi T. I am in a quandary. When I ordered these films from the FHC catalog, they were indicated on the list as "matrimoni". I failed to note upon arrival that they were not "atti di matrimonio". I had become accustomed to minor changes to forms during this period and ignored the f...

Re: Monaco, Salzillo marriage

Hi Livio

That explains why I couldn't figure it out.
Why would the bride and groom have a legal representative? I'm not sure I have seen this before. Also, is a "marriage promise" the same as a marriage?

Thank you

Re: Leone, Busico marriage

Hi T. :)

I don't think I have seen "Loreto" before. I kept looking for Lorenzo, but there weren't enough letters.
On Masullo, I wanted clarification of the "s".
Thank you for your help.

I am having trouble determining the given name of the bride's father. Also, what is the surname of the bride's mother? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Re: Busico, Santora marriage

Thank you for that clarification. I have to admit that I hadn't paid attention to that info because I already had the groom and his parents in my tree from his first marriage.

Thank you very much for the help. :)

Re: Busico, Santora marriage

Hi T.

That surely makes more sense. Normally I find that info attached to the bride's name, not her mother's.
So, needless to say, I was confused by it. :?

Thank you

Re: Angiola di Nardo death

I saw what looked like venti, but then looked at the writing that slants downward after it. It kind of looks like ventinove. Do you think I am reading words from another line? :?

Thank you

Re: Angiola di Nardo death

Hi again T. :) I found the marriage of another child who was born abt 1836, which would make Angiola about 51 years old. Needless to say, I am still suspicious of the age on her death act. http://s1.postimage.org/2tw8sfpl0/Baldassarre_Saldamarco_marr_1861_001.jpg Can you figure out Teresa's age on t...

Re: Angiola di Nardo death

You are correct. I don't have the births but the marriages of her children. They were born abt 1820-1831. I encountered another death that I had better info on the person. She was listed as 90 but was much closer to 80 years old. Because of the lack of literacy, I have found the older a person becam...
