Here are two links which you should find helpful, the first is Carol Duvall,
her show is great, she features a wide variety of crafting profects from start to finish, the second is all about scrapbooking.

Scrapbooking is great fun, it's like a photo album and journal all rolled into one. There are a wide variety of scrapbooking magazines on the shelf, pick one up, but don't get overwhelmed when you see how technical and fancy they can be........it's all about your own creativity and having fun!!
My grandchild who is about your daughters age loves it!!! And it's something we can do together. :D

Oh yes indeed....Nuccia headed me in that direction when searching for my elusive maternal grandmother (aka 'Naughty Nina' ).

They were very good and fast to respond (much as all of you here on Italian Genealogy are) and they found many possible leads some of which I had previously 'discarded' as being highly improbable.

However one of their researchers (British, but based in Switzerland) set me off again and at that point things really started to move. Nuccia - who knew of my search - then stepped it all up a gear and through her continuing hard work and sessions of burning the midnight oil I think I may finally be close to knowing at least 'something' about 'Naughty Nina'.....

I think perhaps the 'forte' at Rootschat.com is their wide knowledge of genealogical research into British Records, archives etc - which, if I'm not mistaken, differs a bit from Italian and American.

Elba,

I too have foot in mouth disease most of the time......No harm done, it was really my fault.

Will do, Nuccia. And Elba is right on target about you!

Hugs back,
:) nonna
