Tessa, yes that is my grandfather.
OK, so we've established that Clemente and Nunzio were brothers. Nunzio listed Antonio (Tony) on his WWI draft card and they were all in Pittsburgh around 1909, but Tony was in Cleveland by 1914 (my original post was a typo, I checked his citizenship papers and he was married in 1914 not 1913).
Nunzio (and Clemente)'s cousin is Pasquale Picciano.

Re: Albanese family of Busso (CB) - Pittsburgh/Cleveland
Busso is a small comune of 1500 inhabitants. It’s located 15 km from the provincial capital of Campobasso. San Lorenzo is the main church. It features several valuable paintings of the Neapolitan school and beautiful wooden crucifix by Parthenopean sculptor Colombo. Other churches include Santa Maria del Carmine, Sant’Anna, Santa Tecla, and Santa Maria in Valle. When I was there, both San Lorenzo and Santa Maria del Carmine were open. I don’t know if the other churches are still active or even if they are located in Busso proper. Busso is located near the woods of Mount Variano, which offer outdoor sports and camping activities. Typical local dishes include “pizz’ e m’nestreâ€I'd like to also know if anyone has any general information on Busso.

On this manifest are also two other Albanese from Busso...mjordan wrote:On Ellis Island, I found what is probably my Clemente Albanese, of Busso, arriving in 1909 headed to Pittsburgh to see a cousin, though the name is illegible, it does not look like an Albanese.

The Charles Albanese on the census above from Cleveland allegedly arrived in 1906, though I suppose that could be incorrect.
Line 7 is Nicola Albanese, 28, leaving father Giovanni in Busso
Line 12 is Antonio Albanese, 20, leaving father Giovanni in Busso
Line 9 is Clemente Albanese, 30, leaving wife Vittoria Ruberto in Busso

Since you have a place of birth and dates for Clemente, Nunzio and Antonio, you might want to write directly to the comune for birth records.

Re: Albanese family of Busso (CB) - Pittsburgh/Cleveland
I think I found something here.
This Ellis Island manifest for Pasquale Picciano notes a few things.
http://www.ellisisland.org/EIFile/popup ... &line=0022
He was from Busso, going to Pittsburgh. His wife is named De Loris. My great aunt was Lucille Delores Albanese. He was going to visit an uncle named J. Palmieri. My gr-gm was named Filomena Palmieri and according to my mom, Antonio and Filomena were 3rd cousins.
Furthermore, he had been in the states in 1903 and 1906, so despite this being a 1909 manifest, he easily could have been there in 1905 when Nunzio came over.

Re: Albanese family of Busso (CB) - Pittsburgh/Cleveland
Hi Tessa
Clemente's wife is probably Vittoria Ruberto, which is a common surname in Busso. I have never seen the surname Luberto in the Busso records.
I did notice on this manifest that Antonio was traveling to his brother Liberato, while Nicola was traveling to his brother Nunzio, both at the same address in Pittsburgh.

You can also search the LDS Family History Center microfilm at your nearest center. They have available to rent, Busso records from 1809-1910...
OR
You can take John Armellino's VERY generous offer to have him look into the films he has on loan.

Thanks, John. Even when the handwriting is clear, I still sometimes have trouble deciphering it, though I do think the Palmieri connection is helpful.
In my excitement at finding Clemente's Ellis Island record I didn't realize it was the same manifest as my gr-gf's! I have a 1913 manifest for Libero (Liberato).
I do plan on contacting the comunes in a few weeks when I have a little more time.
I guess the question I still have is what happened to this family in Pittsburgh? Did the others stay there or return to Italy? Are there census, birth or death records for Pennsylvania anywhere?

Which families in Pittsburgh would you like to find?
Picciano, Palmieri, di Iorio, or the Albanese brothers/cousins?
With which one would you like to start?
