Translation help = please :)
Can you take a look at this & translate. I'm not so much interested in the names as I am looking for the outline of bride, groom, parents, etc...

Re: Surname Help (Losquadro)
I appreciate the direction; however, I'm looking for something more official. Someone that researches surnames - a professional?

Surname Help (Losquadro)
My family comes from Toritto, Bari - and have a very uncommon surname: Losquadro.
I can't find any information on this surname and I'm not sure where else I can look or if there is someone that specializes in names from Southern Italy.
Any direction would be great.
thanks

Help reading ship manifest
I am hoping someone can take a look at the Ellis Island ship manifest, line 6 - for Pietro Bartolomeo. I can't figure out what it say's above and to the right of Dr. Certificate. Also - Do you think entry of Dr. Certificate was for Bartolomeo or Spano on line 7? http://www.ellisisland.org/EIFile/pop...

Reverse Search?
Everyone knows there are records (passenger lists) of Italians coming to the US....My question is there anyway to search if/when they left the US - never to return?

Re: Census Assistance Needed
Thank you Laura -
I probably should have included links to previous posts, although I'm not quite sure how they would help since I'm looking for my gr-grandparents on Census records, not my grandparents.

Re: Census Assistance Needed
I have some ship manifests...but they must have been hiding from the Census workers, because that's where my problem comes in. I believe they had 1 child (Gaetano) when they came over in 1898,1899 and 1905. My grandfather was born in 1900 and I believe they had one daughter Teresa, but I can't reall...

Census Assistance Needed
I'm trying to find my gr-grandparents listed on the 1900-1930 census and I'm not having any luck. I've looked in several locations including subscription to Ancestry, FootNote and FamilyHistory (LDS). Names: Pietro Bartolomeo (b: 1865) and Nicoleta (Clara) Loreto (b: 1875) children: Gerardo, (possib...

Re: Suggestions or Assistance Appreciated - Bartolomeo
Very interesting.......Looks like the father of Gerardo and father of Mary knew one another from Italy. Setting the stage for an arranged marriage. I'm curious as to why Nicola would have given his cousin as his final destination on this manifest when his wife and children were already living in the...

Re: Suggestions or Assistance Appreciated - Bartolomeo
According to my grandfather (deceased), he was born in the US. This is also documented on the Census records listing him and his wife/children. He did have one brother in the US - Domenic, but I don't know anything about him, where he lived/died (although I do have a prayer card w/date) I can't find...
