I had no problems at the center I went to. Their copier was down but I was able to take pictures without any issues.

Well you have two possiblilities 1- the most probable, he was born in Bellona there is a Via Volturno there. It seems that during WWII there was a battle at Villa Volturno just north of Capua, that is where Bellona is. or Villa Volturno was meant to be Castel Volturno oddly enough it is on the coast...

Very true Johnnyonthespot, however as your own quote states, that was the Middle Ages, not 100 years ago but more like 1000 years ago before Europe even knew the Americas existed. It is no longer the case.

Thanks, I was always told they were from Naples. Piedmonte is nowhere near there.

Well it looks like it wasn't him anyhow, my grandmothers brother found his birth certificate. He was born in the US in 1913. His dad's name is Francesco, he came over Dec 3,1900 at the age of 22. The town he gave me I can't find. It was probably spelled wrong they told me Montalenglio. Anyone have a...
