Translation help, please...

Post by Debid76 »

Hi,

I have another document I would love translated. It belonged to my great-great grandfather, Francesco Lombardo (I think). It is actually a very long document... 11 total pages. I have included a link to the first page. I would just like to know what the document is about.

Thank you for your help,

Debby

It is a bill of sale done in front of the Notary Carmelo Rao in Termini Imerese on July 11, 1923. The seller is Marianna Romano, daughter of the deceased Francesco Paolo, widow of Onofrio Lombardo. She stands proxy for her sons Salvatore and Loreto, who are in America...

Thank you so very much!! Marianna & Onofrio are my great-great-great grandparents. I did not know her father's name. When I saw Francesco Paolo written in the document I was assuming it had to do with her son, my great-great grandfather.

Can you tell me what was being sold?? Land??

I am including the next 2 pages of the document. I would appreciate if someone can look them over for me. I really do not need a word-for-word translation. I just want to know if there is anything interesting, or any other names.

The first page didn't say what was sold.

The new pages that you posted show that the buyer is Romano(?) Pietro Lombardo son of the deceased Onofrio.

Basically Salvatore and Loreto Lombardo are **SPAM** to their brother Pietro 2 thirds of the ownership of a house (that is in vary bad conditions)...
