My Great-grandmother, Ernesta Mignozzi, daughter of Domenico and Angela Laterra? Arrived in New York on May 21 1912 on Duca D Aosta. She was Born Nov 9, 1902 in putignano, in the province of Bari, looking for anyone in Italy or elsewhere who is;

1- possible relative or
2- has any information pretaining to the Mignozzi family

Your great grandmother was my great aunt Ernie. I grew up across the street from her and Uncle Nick on 189th Street in Flushing. Your great, great grandfather, Domenick, used to walk me to kindergarten. He lived to be 101 years old. I was very close to your great grandmother and grandfather. Uncle Nick loved baseball, and was a huge Mets fan. My grandmother Helen was Ernesta's sister. Besides lots of stories and memories, I have some genealogy info for you. Ernesta and Elena had a brother named Vittorio. I knew him as Uncle Victor. There are some colorful family stories about him. There were two other sisters and another brother. Anyway, I'll try to dig up as much information as I can.
