I am looking for any records or information on my grandparents, born it Brescia Italy in the late 1800. Grandfather Luigi Pirlo born 1985 in Ono Degno. Grandmother Annuinca Bacchetti born in ? Vestone Italy. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, sheila

Here is an odd manifest. The name is right, but this Anuncia is traveling with her husband. Take a look anyway, perhaps it is a relative.

If it's so, in 1917/1918 he was living in Indiana County PA...

If the 1909 arrival manifest posted by Misbris is correct it seems there was another Angelo's brother travelling with him, please take a look at the line 30:

Pirlo Pietro, age 31, male, single coming from Ono Degno, going to Willock (same Luigi's destination) and leaving in Italy his father Angelo in Ono Degno (same dates on Luigi's declarations)

Thank you for the information. I'm not sure if that is my grandfather. There are two Luigi Pirlo one born in 1886 and my grandfather in 1885, they could be cousins, but I'm not sure.I have found one record of him in 1928 returning to US from Italy. Pink67 found that. He is my grandfather.
My grandmother was married before in Italy. Her husband died in ?1912. Then she met my grandfather. So I think that could be her. If you find more information that would be great.

Thank you, The ww11 record is my grandfather and the other information is correct, becauce my moms name and her siblings are correct. As I mentioned to Misbris there are two Luigi Pirlo. My grandfather immidrated to the US in 1901 from what I have been told, and i can't find any records of that. If you find any more information that would be great.

So, If Annuncia's first husband died in 1912 the two first child on the censuses Bert and Mary are Annuncia and Angelo Bacchetti's child?
From 1930 census it seems that Bert and Mary were born in Tennesse (?) and the third daughter Elizabeth in Kentucky....

Annuncia had 3 children Bert, Mary, and Angeline also called (Jennie) she died in 1929 i think.Then came the rest after she married my grand father. But I can find any information on when they got married or where.

I know that census informations often are wrong, but if Elizabeth is Luigi's first child with Annuncia and she's listed as born in Kentucky, don't you think possible they get married there?
It's only an idea....
Do you have Luig's Naturalization papers?
