Maffeo from Torino

Post by dulceminnesota »

Hello,
My grandmother's grandfather was from Torino, Italy. We are trying to find his birth Certificate. Do you know where I will be able to find that? Thanks.

Using the location search on this website reveals the possible locations for Torino. Do you know which is the correct one?

Township Section / Hamlet

LEINI (Torino) TORINO

ROLETTO (Torino) TORINO

TORINO (Torino)

PALAZZOLO SULL'OGLIO (Brescia) TORINO

JOLANDA DI SAVOIA (Ferrara) TORINO

Can you estimate a birth year for this ancestor you are looking for? It will help someone advise you as to record availability. Telling us its your grandmother's grandfather does not help us estimate a year.

Debbie,
His name was Giuseppe (Josephe) Maffeo. They think he was born in 1866 in Torino, Italy. He moved to SouthAmerica around 1888. We are looking for his birth certificate.
Thanks for your help.

Since your ancestor was born around 1866, and you`re not sure of the date, perhaps his record is in the arhives of the comune.
