I did find some ancestry.com records but I am not sure.

????
Nicoletta Artino - arrived in USA 1909 - states she is married, but no husband name. Not sure if this is her or not.

No birth certificates for Nicolina Artino or Calogero Rundo.
No marriage certificates for Nicolina Artino or Calogero Rundo.

I have the death certificates for Lena (Nicolina) Rondo and Charles (Calogero) Rundo. And actualy pictures of the grave headstones since I live near Cleveland, Ohio.

FYI...
Varriations of Calogero Rundo - Cologero Rundo, Cologero Runno that I found.

I did find the 1910 census, but not the 1920 census. I know she would not be on the 1930 census since she died in 1926, but I would think I would of found something for Calogero Rundo or the children James (Vincenzo) Rundo or Vincenza Rundo.

Nice Find.

Where did you find that WWII card?

Thank you for the 1920 census. I could not find it on ancestry.com

regarding the other forum that suanj responded too....

Is Nicolina Artino related to Giuseppe Polizzi (my other great-grandfather)?
Now per personal family doc's, Giuseppe came over to the USA and stayed with his sister that was married to Charles Rundo in Cleveland. But ship manifests state Giuseppe stayed with his cousin Conforto Vincenzo in Cleveland. Alo the manifest that shows Vincenzo Conforto arriving to the USA as staying with his brother Giuseppe in Cleveland. Vincenzo arrived 7 months earlier than Giuseppe Polizzi.

I am trying to figure out if the two are relatives. I know my grandmother Graczia Polizzi married James John Rundo (Charles & Nicolina Rundo's child). And after James John Rundo died in 1953, she married James (Biagio?) DiMarco in 1968? - I have been told that the Dimarco's were a cousin and it was a no-no to marry cousins back than, but they did.

Now on the Death Certificate for James Rundo in 1953 Cleveland, Ohio it shows the mothers name as Grace Rundo. Very confusing.

So I am confused regarding Nicolina Rundo and Grace Rundo - married to Charles Rundo.

Hi mj :D !
The manifest for Calogero may be the one.
Manifests for Tom's other side also have Agira as last residence.
I was guessing son James (Vincenzo?) would be traveling with wife Nicolina.
Perhaps we're looking at a 'chain migration' from the same area in Italy to Cleveland?

Tom, the easiest way to figure out relationships is to find a record with both families mentioned: census, ship manifest - who joining, marriage or naturalization witnesses, best - obituaries with family mentioned.
Ohio obituary collection: http://index.rbhayes.org/hayes/index/search_results.asp

Nice find - thank you.

For Nicoletta Artino
It looks to be she was heading to 100 (or 120) Orange St. Cleveland and staying with a nephew Giuseppe Porrina (or Porriua)??? It also states she is married, but wouldn't she stay with her husband?
Arrived: 5/18/1906

For Calogero Rundo
It shows he was heading for 95th St. Cleveland and staying with brother-in-law Conforto Vincenzo.
Arrived: 11/4/1903

Now Giuseppe Polizzi stayed with a cousin Vincenzo Conforto per Giuseppe's arrival manifest - 95th??? Cleveland. Also Vincenzo Conforto was staying with his brother Giuseppe in Cleveland when he arrived 4/1903 - 7 months before Giuseppe Polizzi.

Also per previous postings that Charles Rundo and Nicolina Rundo were at 34th St in Cleveland, Ohio per the 1920 census. The 1910 census on another forum posting did not list a street name or number.

Any more info will help out a lot.
