Where are the marriages of New York (1942-1975)

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

I entered into www.cityclerk.nyc.gov / ...home.shtml, but they want a valid ID in the United States.
I'm Italian! I do not have valid documents USA.
Is there any friend of New York to take the document of marriage?
Or there is a newspaper with the marriages of New York (1942-1975)?

Marriage records less than 50 years old are not available to the general public.
