Here you go :D !

Frank A Mancini
born abt 1888 in Italy
immig abt 1912
naturalized citizen abt 1919

1920 census
http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/963/1920.jpg
---
There aren't any ship manifests for ships leaving the US, only arriving
---
Yes, it was normal on a passport application to list information and have a picture for both people.
---
1st passport?
Do you mean to leave Italy?
That is not an easy document to track down in Italy (if the record still exists).

A few notes about census records:

Everything really depended upon the person giving the information
- who gave the information to the enumerator, could be anyone in the family or even a neighbor
- how much they knew
- whether or not they could make themselves understood (was a problem for recent immigrants)
Also a lot depended upon the enumerator doing a good job
In other words, don’t worry too much about dates and how names were spelled
Questions that the enumerator asked were different every year
Relationships are all to the ‘head’ of the household
Last year available is 1930, 1940 will be out in 2012
